We offer regular garden maintenance, visits can be offered as follows, to suit your budget and needs:

  • One visit per week OR
  • One visit every 2 weeks OR
  • One visit every 4 weeks

Everybody is different, the world is diverse and we embrace that.  We understand that there is no ‘right way’ of doing things and all of our clients are entitled to have their garden how they would like it and we always strive to adapt our approach to best suit their requirements.

How We Work

The work that we do is always proactive. Understanding what is about to happen in the garden before it happens is how we can improve flowering, minimise pests and disease, promote strong plant growth and healing, as well as keeping garden beds clean and the soil healthy.

We take care of:

Lawn cutting and general maintenance

We have both a roller mower for a striped lawn and a lighter mower on wheels when conditions aren't suitable for using the roller. Lawn edging will be kept clean and defined. We strive to keep the lawns as weed free as possible, results will depend on lawn size and length of visit. Any additional materials needed for reseeding and fertilising would be charged in addition to the regular maintenance cost.

Pruning

All shrubs, climbers and small trees (up to 5 metres). We understand the nuances and different techniques for pruning a vast array of coniferous, broadleaf evergreen and deciduous, shrubs and trees. By this point, it is very rare to come across a plant we are not familiar with, if a plant is not recognised, diligent research will be taken to discover more about it before any work is done. See Specialised Pruning for more details.

Dead heading

To promote repeat flowering on herbaceous perennials, shrubs, climbers and roses.

Watering

Where necessary. We will instinctively water plants if we feel that they are suffering, but most potted plants will need to be watered in between garden visits and should be monitored by the homeowner. We can teach you how to water and what signs to look for to help you understand when to water.

A balanced approach to weeding and garden bed clearance

This can swing from immaculately clean garden beds to a more natural approach, which allows for some beneficial plants/weeds to be left in certain circumstances. We believe in a Wabi Sabi approach - nature thrives when we take a step back and don’t overmanage the situation.  We found that having a balanced approach between the two meets the requirements of both aesthetics and garden health.

Waste Removal

We remove all the green waste that is generated from the work that we undertake. We only carry a Green Waste Licence, therefore aren't able to take away non green waste such as plastic, treated wood, metal, rubble, bricks, soil etc.

Charge

Our minimum charge is £120.
